Completed for a large statewide aged care provider (2015-16)
A major NSW provider of aged care commissioned Verso to develop their strategic plan for the next ten years, building on the existing mission, values, philosophy of care, strategic goals and governance guidelines. The new strategic aged care plan built consistency of direction and performance for all areas where the provider operates.
The scope of the plan included:
- Factual assessment of local needs and issues
- Development of a cohesive overall plan that set direction and growth targets for the next ten years and beyond.
- Development of measurable performance indicators to assist the Board and area executives to direct and monitor progress.
A key aspect of the project was engagement and input from as many internal and external stakeholders as possible. Project activities included analysis of current and projected needs in each area, a desktop review of key documents and service structures, senior management questionnaires, a competitor scan and a series of workshops in each local area to review and confirm findings.
