In September 2017, Verso’s Managing Director, Doug Faircloth, presented at the International Conference on “New Perspectives for Outcome-based Evaluation and Research on Family and Children’s Services” (iaOBERfcs Conference) in Hong Kong. The iaOBERfcs Conference aims to provide participants with an international platform to share research and advance knowledge development in outcome-based evaluation worldwide. Doug’s presentation, “Measuring Change – Promoting Healing”, focused on the work Verso has undertaken with MacKillop Family Services since 2015 to develop an outcomes measurement framework for therapeutic out-of-home care for children and young people. The presentation was well received by attendees, who came from many countries, including Japan, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Finland, Italy and the United States, to share their ideas and research.
